Four Amateurs from the Philippines to compete in Asian tourn

On May 23-30, the Asian Women’s Boxing Championship in Astana, Kazakhstan will take place. This tournament will be in preparation for the Guangzhou Asian Games that will take place in November 2010. In a local news article they reported that female boxers, Asian Games champion Josie Gabuco (46 kg.); Alice Kate Aparri (48 kg.); Annalisa Cruz (51 kg); and 17-year-old prodigy Nesthy Petecio (57 kg) will compete.

Alice Kate has a good experience in Amateur Boxing. She has performed well in Asian Women’s Boxing Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan. Josie Gabuco has not that much stamina, I think to compete actively ( My opinion ).
